What we do
Heart and Home Living strives to provide therapeutic homes for children who have experienced trauma in their lives, often stemming from a range of adverse childhood experiences such as neglect. These experiences can result in a range of emotional and behavioral difficulties. We offer long-term placements that focus on exploring and addressing such traumas, in order to support children in creating coping strategies that aid them in regulating their emotional responses, ultimately leading to them becoming well-balanced young adults.
It is a heartbreaking reality that many young people have suffered multiple rejections and experienced feelings of abandonment due to the breakdown of significant relationships, such as with key caregivers in their lives. This often leaves the child unable to see a positive future for themselves. We understand that stability is essential to the healing process and forms the foundation for re-engaging the child in believing in themselves. Therefore, we strive to create stable and loving homes for our children to flourish in.

Alongside providing high-quality accommodation placements, we also offer round-the-clock staff support to ensure that all the needs of our children are met, no matter how complex they may be. Our caring and dedicated staff provide a family-like environment, creating a nurturing and supportive setting for our children.
